Head of Tern Belfast

Brendan is responsible for all output from the Belfast office. He has been with the company since June 2010. From there he develops and executive produces a range of Specialist Factual series, Daytime, and Features.

He has filmed across Arts, Music, Docs, Features and Specialist Factual across the globe – from South America to the Far East and the Arctic Circle, with a very wide range of people. Some of them were fun. Hunter S Thompson and Allen Ginsberg were a hoot……

Prior to working at Tern Brendan ran Jeremy Isaacs Productions for a time, and made Time Team for Channel 4, plus a range of Time Team documentaries – among them Dover Castle, Henry VIII’s Lost Palaces, Pugin: God of Gothic. He also made a wide range of music documentaries, including a film on Atlantic Records for Channel 4 and Dusty Springfield for the BBC.
